But as of late, gold and brass has been making a very classy come back, and I can't say I'm upset. When done right, gold/brass can look amazing - a lamp here, a candle holder there, a well-made coffee table in the center of a balance living room.
In the boutique I listed a brass bull (which has since been sold - first item!), along with an amazing magazine rack that's gold-hued bamboo-styled metal.
Now, I've included wearable accents:
Each one has their own personality, their own reason for being such a great piece to add to your wardrobe:
- The cross-body is adorable, functional, and offers probably the most unique hardware I've seen, showcasing Greek key style accents.
- The gold stripe tote has so much room - I used it once when heading to Seattle for a class. It held a portfolio, a small clutch that I use as a wallet, a bottle of water - and didn't look bulky or out of shape.
- The clutch is such a fun one - with the bright yellow and gold metallic accenting the black "snake skin" suede. Plus, the clutch is HUGE - I was able to fit three magazines in there (just for fun), with even more room for whatever else I wanted in there.
Seriously, I couldn't be more excited about these hand-painted, vintage bags. They are made with love. <3
